What is "Jobs for Ukraine" and who can apply?
Jobs for Ukraine is Job Bank’s initiative as part of Canada’s response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Job Bank has set up a simple process that aims to connect Canadian employers with Ukrainian nationals seeking employment in Canada. Employers who want to hire Ukrainians can promote their job postings through a dedicated channel on Job Bank.
To search jobs for Ukrainians on Job Bank, follow these steps:
- Go to this page to start your search for job postings advertised by Canadian employers who want to support Ukrainian nationals.
- In the search fields, type in a job title or the name of an employer.
- Enter the location where you want to work in Canada. You can enter a postal code or the name of a province, a territory or a city.
- Select filters that interest you to narrow down your search results.
- Click on "View results" at the top of the page.
- When you find a job posting that interests you, scroll down and click on "Show how to apply" to find out how you can contact the employer.
- To modify your search criteria, go back to the first page. Do not use the search bar.
Important: All jobs advertised through Jobs for Ukraine are publicly accessible and open to anyone who is legally entitled to work in Canada. Canadian citizens and permanent residents can still apply.
Note: Ukrainian nationals who need more help to find work in Canada can contact Job Bank to request assistance. They can also visit Job Bank's page for newcomers to find more useful information and resources to help them settle in Canada.
